Sheffield Wildlife Trust is offering a variety of volunteer experiences through its youth volunteering project, funded by V.
The V-Project is a new volunteer initiative to help 16-19 year olds gain valuable experience & knowledge on environmental based projects, including conservation work on nature reserves, improving primary school grounds and running events in urban parks.
Groups of 10-12 young people will take part in each projects with help and support from Wildlife Trust staff, who will help to guide them and make sure that no individuals are excluded. Young people can take part in a range of activities within their project. They will have the opportunity to make a valuable difference to their local environment, as well as meeting new people and developing new skills, in practical conservation, teamwork and communication.
