You would be involved on a part time basis for several hours per week over a few weeks, with the option to do longer sessions at weekends or in school or college holidays. Young people will be recruited based on their motivation to volunteer, and don’t need any previous experience to take part in the project.
Travel and refreshment costs will be covered through the project and any tools and equipment such as boots or gloves will be provided.
Training Opportunities.
There are also opportunities within the project for you to work towards accreditation such as the NVQ level 1 in land-based management or ASDAN award. You will be encouraged to build portfolios to record your involvement and achievements in the project.
